Fiction Workshop III

This is the first workshop where I’ve produced short stories instead of a longer piece, like a novella. The stories were inspired by a novel I originally wanted to write about the Boy Scouts and masculinity/sexuality, but didn’t over the summer. Rather than committing myself to a huge novel that I may or may not be motivated to finished, I decided to go with short stories instead.

I decided to make the stories all different facets of the same idea, so that by the end of the work, there may be a more complicated understanding of sexuality and the BSA, and growing up. Most of what I produced this semester, ultimately became the first half of my final Senior Portfolio that I revised and polished in the Spring.

Enjoy!
